My phone will not charge. I can connect it to the charger and it looks like it is charging. Remove the charger then phone goes off. I charged the battery with a stand alone charger then installed battery....

It maybe a problem on the phone already and not on the battery. Something inside the power ic / board that's why any battery will not hold charge for long. Try also draining the battery and then charging it for a full 2 hours with the phone powered off as this charges the phone faster.

Okay. When i plug in my charger to my phone, it will not charge for anything! It may be a possibility that i spilled some yogurt on it also /: but there is nothing wrong with the phone itself.. Like it...

Did spill the yogurt on the phone, or on the charger?

What happend when you plugged in the charger, specifically? Did your phone turn off, if not, were there any changes on the display, did the battery bars blink?

Also, if this is your AC charger for inside your home, do you have a car charger and have you tried it? If your car charger works, or if you are able to borrow someone's charger and IT works, then YOUR charger needs to be replaced. Best Buy, Wal Mart Electronic dept,or Staples, Office Depot, all these retail outlets sell replacement AC and DC ( 12v battery ) chargers. Cellphone chargers are notoriously easy to break, its not unusual to have to replace it during the life of any given phone.

You could try wiggling the connector, and watching the display to see if you have intermittent contact. Most of the ones I've had to replace were like that. They would only work if I pushed in the connector, or held it a certain way. If I just hooked it up and left it, it would not make a connection to the juice. Watch the display closely as your wiggling. You are looking to see if the display light up, or the battery bars to blink. If you can see it connect, even intermittently, you know your phone, and its ability to charge is okay,

Time on phone keeps changing and doesn't stay when I put the correct tome in...which I shouldn't to do right....its suppose to be automatic but its constantly giving me the wrong time...help please

Your secondary battery located inside your unit which is for correct time display maybe drained. I have the same problem with my phone. After I had it replaced by a technician, my phone clock display is now working nomal. Another option if you don't want your secondary battery replaced is setting your phone to automatically detect your network's time. Go to settings, look for time and date settings and locate the automatically update time or something like that. Everytime you turn on your phone, it should automatically detect and display a correct time.

Hello,

Intense heat will damage or destroy the Battery. Also, heat will damage or destroy the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) by melting the crystal.

Try the phone with battery charger connected. With Charger connected and powering the phone, try to turn on. The Back light is usually driven by LED s which are robust and can sustain the Dryer heat.

If the phone back light comes on, the the phone electronics is probably OK and will still work as a phone.
The Battery can be replaced, but there is no easy way to replace a bad display.

So, Power with Charger, look for light, try dialing without display.

  • If above suggestions fails , then its better to approach an authorized service center

Hope this helps.

PHONE DOESN'T TURN ON? I PUSH ON/OFF BUTTON ON TOP AND HOLD IT DOWN, IT IS CHARGED?

Pull the battery and clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser... make sure that the matching contacts in the phone are not bent...
The reinstall the battery, hook up your charger and watch the display for "device attached" confirmation on the display. If you don't get a confirmation on the display, it either isn't attached properly, the charger isn't getting power or if it's a car charger, the fuse in the charger is blown.
If after ample time for a complete charge, it's not working, replace the battery.
If none of the above works, it may be time to swap out the phone...

SIM not recognized

I had the same problem with charging, I found that my car charger and via USB charged the phone but not my home charger. Give that a try, if it works with either one of them you will have to send it to Motoservice center and they will fix the internal connection problem. (save your money on buying new batteries and chargers) Make sure that the phone is not locked to a network, or make sure that the SIM has not expired and has plenty of credit.
