Question about Motorola RAZR Cell Phones
I dropped my phone outside on the ground and I noticed that under the first screen, what looks like the second screen, had a small crack, about 20 mins later the screen started to not respond as fast as it should and small blue splotches were starting to appear also apps and websites ive recently been on keep burning onto the screen. the blue splotches have been getting bigger and bigger and now take up most of the screen. i dont know wether its something to do with the colour in the phone or something like that and i need to know if i need to get the screen repaired or not?
The screen is broken as a result of the drop and needs a replacement.

It might be just dust somewhere in the light path to the LCD panels or on them. The only other thing that comes to mind is the light engine itself and that is no easy task to replace. The part number for it is A-1084-666-A and can run close to 1000.00 for the part. Can you post a picture of the issue so I can look at it?

SOURCE: white screen
I had this problem too. My razrs screen would just go white every 15 minutes maybe, and i would have to turn it off and back on.There was a white line at the bottom of the screen also, so i went to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=&language=&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=US%20Cellular&strPhone=V3c&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable and downloaded thee software update. after it was finished the white line went away the screen never went white and it fixed everything

SOURCE: Leaking Black Colour
REPLACE THE PRINTER AND SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE MESS
Understand when I suggest replacing the printer, it isn't that you can't fix it or that I'm not answering your question. But to do so will require cleaning every inch of the internal components. The ink will stain everything it touches and you'll need a smock, a work area, and probably gloves.
See what happens is that where the print head parks there is an ink absorber and below it is an ink well. The ink absorber is a sponge like arm that cleans off the cartridge and the well catches the loose ink. Inkjet printers are for the most part not designed to last past a few years, so few printers have a method for emptying these. When they become full the printer will start leaking ink in torrents but will continue to function normally for quite a while until it fills every nook and cranny of the printer. While all you notice is a sightly higher consumption of ink.
By the time you start visibly seeing the ink come out of the printer, the inside is a huge mess, and when I say huge I mean without cursing, words just can't express how nasty and ink smeared it is.

SOURCE: screen keeps going bright
I am sorry but this means that the screen might be busted. the impact might have damaged the luminous controller inside the screen. You might need to find a replacement for the screen if that is happening.
I had a similar case where the screen was gng very bright but this was due to a cabling fault of the screen.

This is a frustrating protocol that companies need to maintain " no physical damage" it is due to idiots who abused the warranty and made us the ones who need it ,suffer . There is a way around it . It may charge a deductable and providing that your insurance covers lost or stolen producte. File the claim. I repair cell phones .a ez repair may cost 100 to 150
