Fan won't shut off when burner goes off RUUD # LR-125JD The contacts burnt and stuck

That is normal operation in a hot air furnace. Normally, the fan keeps running to cool down the heat exchangers. If you actually saw burned contacts............................................ then change the damn control. lol

Laptop Power Settings

By changing the power settings from low power mode will help keep the laptop warm as it continues to operate. Instead of the hard drive shut down, keep spinning. The longer the laptop can be detained run, the hotter it will remain as it creates its own heat.

Ran the microwave shut down. Is there a reset button

You could have burned something out on unit. Check fuse or contact GE. Look in manual for trouble shooting tips.

Truck runs normal temperature while engine is running but when i shut engin off it gets red hot

it is quiet normal that the engine will get a little hotter after you switch it off as there is no water circulating, but it should start to cool down after a short period because there is nothing to make it get any hotter if it is not running......hope this helps......cheers.

Hi, my pc just shuts down after 10 to 15 minites as if there was a power cut then i put it back on it will not last 5 minites but if i leave for a few hours it will last for 10 to 15 minites again. can you...

From the information desribed it appears that your PC is over heating. You may need to clean all the vents especially the fan vents with an air duster (can of compressed air).

It is possible that your fan(s) has failed or is running slow - they might need replacing.

Also make sure you operate your laptop on a solid surface so that air can freely circulate under and around it.. I hope this has helped

Breaker is heat while operating

Breakers will normally heat up up a heavy load... if the breaker gets too hot it will trip and shut down the circuit.
The one thing you can do to make sure it is not getting hotter then necessary is to shut off the breaker and make sure that the wires are securely tightened into the breaker. Loose wires can also cause the breaker to get hotter then it should.

I open my webcam it,s start normal after i chat get dark , hence i shut down it, work again after 20 minits or 30 mnints dark again , so please what can i do

If you are working on a laptop - check the power setting in the control panel. It may be shutting down peripherals such as USB ports when it thinks you have not been there for a while.

Change the power settings to not shut anything down when you are plugged in.

What does it mean if the doors to the refrigerator are hot where they come together when shut? It's a Kenmore Coldspot Model number 106.55642500

Welcome to FixYa.

I`ll start by letting you know first the heat between the doors is a degree, and done by design to help prevent moisture along the "breaker strip"/divider.( "where the doors come together when shut" )

If all else appears fine, temp. Ok, fans running, no significant frost build up on freezer back wall, it's likely nothing to be concerned about.

**Just be sure the condensor fan isn't jammed and still turning.** The fan at the back next to the compressor.

The amount of heat can be determined by several factor's such as,

1) temperature setting - lower ( colder ) the temperature is set the more the run time the hotter the strip.

2) The ambient temperature - hotter the environment the more the unit runs to compensate, hence the hotter the strip.

3) The amount of "fresh" content added to the unit ( especially freezer section if unfrozen items added ) - new items add a lot of warmth thus demanding the unit to run more to remove this heat (btu`s or british thermal unit`s )causing the strip to be hotter.

4) Build up of dust & dirt on the condensor coils - this also causes the unit to run excessively which in turn makes for more heat on this strip.

These are all things which can and do determine the amount of heat between the doors.

Another factor to always consider is of course If it is hot where you live the unit may just be running more to compensate as with other factors I mentioned.

Hope this answer's your question and let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank's for coming to "fixya" and good luck moving forward.
