Why does the air conditioner leak water from behind the unit. My air conditioner is placed in a wall and the back end of the conditioning unit sticks out inside the garage. I have ventilation by...

It is normal for an air conditioner to leak water out the back. This water is actually the humidity being taken out of your house. Being vented out in to the garage is always an issue with condensate water. I have seen some people take a funnel and run a hose outside the garage somewhere. Keep the vent closed. It will be harder to cool the house with the vent open because it lets outside air in to the house.

Unit is leaking water from vents at the front

In window a/c water leak due to non sloping. Outer cover should be sloped downwards in out side by 1" to allow water flow to outside.
And also the reason with dusty filter and coils. Please service your unit occasionally

Thanks. Helpful?.

Check your air filter & evaporator coil for dust blocked. Clean it.Even if less rpm of blower motor is also one of the problem. Replace the capacitor.

LG LWHD8000RY6 water leak -- gathers inside on the bottom and by the radiator

This may be due to two things, unclean unit, glugged drain holes…an easy way to do this is to pull the front vent off and see inside and see if you can caulk all around the inside and seal up the front by the vent so the water is forced out the front vent [you need to drill a little hole in the lower section of that front vent after you clean the unit and caulk the inside]
Look to see if the drain holes are clear and the water coming out from them either from the back or the bottom…I am not sure how much work you need to do but you may think about installing a hose to it to drain the water out better than the small hole in the back or front…make sure that the unit is little tilted to the side that you have the vent hole at…
This unit discharge lots of water during heat humidity, etc. or dirt built up on the condensing unit on the back, so cleaning may be with vacuum, water pressure, or just by hand, it is up to you… let me know how that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so we can improve on it with your help. God bless

Water is leaking from my downstairs air conditioning vent

I seriously doubt it's the AC. It may be the draing in the upstairs shower, If it's a water line it is a very small leak and is probably puddling in you ceiling. if not nbeing absorbed. Best thing is contact your homeowners insurance because you are going to not only have a plumber to deal with , but a mols issue as well. Sorry, good luck.

Mothers AC unit

That has nothing to do with the water. Sounds to me like it needs cleanning, (the water is not drainning toward the back of the unit) ,,(dirty filter, which its trying to **** air anywhere it can even thru the drain hole, or not enough slope, leanning toward the back so gravity can flow the water to the back of the coil! Thank you-very-much!
