Have you checked the little mesh filter that may be in the hose? Sometimes sediment and other debris can build up causing slow filling. Turn the water valve fully off. Remove the hose from the valve and the machine. Check for a mesh screen in both ends of the hose, possibly even in the inlet to the machine. Remove and clean. You could also have a kink in the hose, bad hose (seen this too many times, just swap the hot and cold and see if the problem moves) bad solonoid valve, bad supply valve, etc.

The washing machine will ot fill with water

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire Gallery washer, model# GLWS1339EC, will not fill with water. First, make sure that the water supply is adequate in area where your washer is located. Secondly, make sure the water supply faucets are completely open. Thirdly, make sure water is not being used elsewhere in the house. The water pressure must be at least 30PSI. Try to avoid running water elsewhere, while the washer is filling. Lastly, make sure the water inlet hoses are not kinked. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
WP

Frigidaire gallery series Model GLGH42FS1 stackable washer leaking

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Water Inlet Valve
If the hose connections are good to the water inlet valve check that water is not leaking from the valve itself it is replace the water inlet valve.

Drain Pump
Check the drain pump housing and all hose connections. The drain pump is down under neath. To disassemble your washer follow the appropiate tutorial. Hoses can be tightened. If hoses or pump housing is leaking replace the pump assembly.

Tub Seal
This is in the center of the tub. The seal is inexpensive but will require some labor to install. Check the tutorials on disassembling the cabinet then remove the agitater and inner tub. Enter your model # above for a diagram or illustration.

My Frigidaire Gallery Top Load Washer will not run ANY cold water!

I would replace the cold water inlet valve at the rear of the washer (pull the washer away from the wall), it is easy to do and the part is less than $20.00

My (gallery) front load is making my load dirty after the wash. I noticed that if I wash in cold water is not as bad as when I wash with warm/hot water.

Sounds like deposits or dirt coming from hot water tank or line running to washer.Turn off water supplies to washer and remove the hoses from the back to see if the filters/strainers in each port are dirty. If not add a little CLR to the washer and let it run a cycle.Hope this helps.Wouldnt hurt to check the drain strainer either on the bottom of the wassher if you remove the little access panel, might be something in there making water dirty

I have a frigidaire gallery series front loader washer model gltf2940e it keeps giving error e10 what do i do

E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

The cold water won't run anymore. The warm will run but no cold. Even in the rinse cycle.

The cold water supply valve can be bad, the cold water hose can be twisted and crimped, the selector switch for cold can be not operating or the water inlet filter < on washer end of hose can be plugged, the water valve for supply may be off or some other cause.Inspect cold water hose for crimping, disconnect both supply hoses and check for any debris on washer valves, run cold supply to verify it doesn't have a problem then problem exists within washer. From this point if you still have problem then you will need assistance to narrow down cause.

I have a frigidaire gallery washer model # fws446ghs0 it will not let cold water run in very good ( very slow ) but warm water is good. the hoses are not kinked and vavles are open. what can this be ?

For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...

1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.

Frigidaire washer {gallery series}

Close your inlet valve at the wall. Unscrew your washer hose to examine any blockage in the small filter screens; clean out thoroughly and refit carefully, check for any water leak on opening the valve fully. If you have 2 inlets for the machine it would be good to get an F or Y adaptor.

Pl rate if helped................
