I have recently upgraded the RAM and to windows 7 and everything is working fine other than the visible screen is much smaller than what is possible and I am told that I need a new driver for the graphics card a nVidia GeForce FX Go5700. Searched on the Internet for one However have been unable to find a fix that does it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
SOURCE: Installing New Graphics Card. How do you disable the onboard GC?
To disable the onboard graphics go into your CMOS settings and in there you should find something that says Graphics choices should be onboard or add on or some other form. It all depends on who made your BIOS. As far as a sound card not sure.

I have been Told that Vista drivers may work. (IF available)
Thank you, I will have a look, the main problem to resolve is that since upgrading there is a black strip at each side of the wide screen.
And you can't change the screen resolution? [ High ( 32-bit) ]
