Question about Computers & Internet
I am currently having Problems with my THOMSON TG585 v7 whilst playing Red Alert 3 i have experience with routers and net connections but for some reason im finding this hard to do. Ive run port detective it tells me that my ports are all closed. I think this is my problem for Red Alert 3 connection but it works fine with all other games if you could please help me with a few simple steps so i can open my ports it would be appreciated Thanks.
On the DNS-server (Active Directory) you have to generate spesific IP-address for each thin clients MAC-address.

Did you use MAC ardress filtering to grant ps3 access to router?
if so you have to do the same with your cpu's wifi mac adress

man u have a router!!!!!!!!!
no need to share the connection
just configure ur router,
put ur broadband connection log-in information in the router
so the router will act as a gateway
and the router will start the dhcp server, so both of ur pc's will have ip's from the same subnet
when the router connects to the internet
the 2 pc's will do the same,

SOURCE: TL-WR340G Wireless Router
best solution, copy the MAC address or Physical of your PC and clone it into your TL-WR340G (in short, change the MAC address of your TL-WR340G)
