Get black box which says "Problem Loading Widgets". Cannot open widgets like Gallery, Camera. Phone received software updates this morning.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

To remove widgets from your screen, long hold the widget, and drag to the Remove button at the bottom of the screen.
To move a widget around, long hold and drag the widget to a different part of the screen. If you want to drag it to a different screen, use your track ball while long holding the widget.
To add a widget, press on the (+) button and the select HTC Widget or Android Widget.
To remove music and wallpapers (which are stored on your SD card), you first need to connect your phone to the computer via a USB cord. On your phone, go to your notifications screen (swipe down from the top of your screen). Select "Mount" and your computer will now recognize your phone as an external storage device.
The music files are in the Music directory, and the graphics are located in the Wallpapers directory.
Remember to Turn off USB Storage by going through the notification screen again.
Hope this helps and good luck.

SOURCE: Is it loading already
If your phone is turned off:
When you plug your HTC in the socket, you will see that there's light behind your center button. This light will go as follow:
There is light for 2 till 3 seconds en there is no light 3 till 4 seconds, and this remains till your HTC is full load. If your HTC is full load, you will see that your center button glows(around the button of course).
This is the same when your phone is turned on, only:
When you plug your HTC in the socket you will see in the battery icon an socket.

kill the application, remove it, if your on pay as you go and your usage limit is used up on internet usage which can happen then it will stop and do exactly what your describing in some cases, its unwise to leave it in its current state, force the stop of the app downloading and remove it even if part of it did get on the phone if you find it there, stop the downloading and then try again if you want to, if you get the same result then something maybe wrong from where your downloading it.
