I put milk in my Keurig and now it won't work...i think the milk burned

..wait..you mean you poured actual milk into the water reservoir on a Keurig coffeemaker..?

That's not good.
What prompted you to do that?

My advise would be to boil water in a kettle, adding about a half-cup of regular vinegar. Pour this into the coffeemaker and let it run through a cycle with just the hot water/vinegar solution. Next, run plain hot water through it.

Hopefully, this will help with flushing out any/all milk that's clogging the coffeemaker. You may have to do this several times to remove the milk residue..milk will cling. (and will start to smell foul..which may or may/not attract insects) so don't ever do that again!

I have a Disney Ariete and it came with a recipe book. These are two of the recipes.

These recipes are for preparing the mixture to be poured into the ice cream maker. The following recipes are for about 1 litre.

EASY CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM
Ingredients:
2 cups of chocolate milk
1/3 cup sweetened, condensed milk
1/2 cup whipped dessert topping
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients.
2. Chill

BANANA ORANGE FROZEN YOGURT
Ingredients:
2 cups vanilla yogurt
1 cup orange juice
1 cup mashed banana
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
Method:
1. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Chill

Hope that helps!

My daughter spilled milk on my cpmputer screen

no, the damage is irreversible. You can have the LCD controller board change out which will resolve the pixelation. However, the cost of doing that outweight the value of the monitor.

Breville Cafe roma milk does not foam

You need practice !

Rules of thumb :
1 - Use COLD MILK, did you ever try to make whipped cream with warm cream ? It's the same.
2 - Use a COLD RECIPIENT to put your milk in.
3 - Foam your milk AT LAST, extract your expresso before, so if you do a not so good foam it doesn't have time to deflate.
4 - If you put any condiment on the foam, it will drop fast, like nutmeg, cocoa or cinamon.
Technique :
a. Put whole milk in a cold stainless steel recipient.
b. Start the machine and let it go for couple of seconds, just to let the first dropplet of water to spat out. When you have a clean and steady jet of steam, it's ready.
c. Swiftly, insert the vapor tube in the milk, if you go too slow, the steam will blow milk everywhere.
d. Go deep in the milk, but don't touch the botttom.
e. Within 5 seconds go toward the surface of the milk carefully, avoiding the big bubbles sound, you are looking for a steady "pcchhhhhh" no grunting, no bubbles, no ear piercing sound. Everytime you loose it, plunge and come back to the surface, eventually you will find the sweet spot.
f. When you are in the sweet spot, keep in mind that the milk surface rise during the process and you have to follow it, so rise slowly, following the path of the foam/milk.
g. If you feel the pot becomming to hot for your finger, you have to stop, milk doesn't like to be heated that much.
h If you succeed you will have a whole pot of foam, the milk wont separate from the foam and when you pour it, it will be like a deep creamy soap foam.

Good luck,

JF

EAM3500S will not froth milk ?

First, check to see if it will pump out steam without a ton of water. If it doesn't, don't use it.

Now, skim milk is terrible for it, the bubbles are too dry and flavorless. Use 2% milk or half-and-half. It should be cold (very cold). I put mine in the freezer in a steel frothing container for 5-10 minutes before use. Just barely submerge the wand (about .25") and turn on the pressure. It should sound like tearing paper (not like blowing bubbles through a straw). Do this until volume increases to around double (if you have a frothing thermometer, it should be around 100 degrees F). Now submerge the wand farther and tilt the cup to create swirling (this is called stretching & sweetens the milk). This should be done until the temperature is around 140-160 degrees F. Done.

If your machine is no good for steam, there's another way: Put milk into a steel cooking pot (I use a saucier for large groups) and put it in the freezer. When very cold (ice forming) put on stove. Whisk briskly while heating up on medium-high. It will create fine foam & stretch the milk at the same time. The bubbles will start big, but become finer as time goes by. I test by stocking my finger in & going until it feels nearly scalding & remove from heat. Just use a ladle for he milk & a spoon for the foam.
