I got this off the Powershot-tools website (www.powershot-tool.com) which is currently under redesign:
"Until we complete our redesign, if you have any questions related to PowerShot Products or Service Inquiries please call us at 201 843-6900. "
I would try calling them and asking if they can get you a new manual (if they can fax or e-mail you a copy, you might get it for free).
Usually, the bottom of the magazine has some kind of a latch or release mechanism that allows part or all of the magazine to drop down and allow you to insert the nails or staples.

I just bought a Powershot pro electric staple and nail gun. I loaded the 5/8 in brads it says to and it will not shoot the nails out.

check for a safety device that has to be in position before it operates
it could be an on/off switch in the handle other than the trigger
failing that take it back for warranty or refund

I just bought a powershot 5700M Staple and Nail tool. I could find how/where to load the nails. Can you help me?

Hello, W/D here.
I'm not exactly familiar with your model, but have several others, and they resemble yours, so please take these directions as "generic".
Open the fill slide as if putting staples in the machine, making sure that all of the staples have been removed. Insert instead the brads down one staple channel. On my stapler/nailers it is the left channel, facing the gun from the rear. Look carefully on the sides of the gun and the ends as , usually, there is some indication of which channel to use, and you rs may well be the other side. Load and test the gun on some scrap wood. If necessary, change channels and try the other side.

Best regards, -- W/D--

How do you load nails in stanley tr250 staple and nail gun??

The magazine on the TR250 has a recess on one side as well as a relief at the top where the driver pushes them through the opening. Load the brads/nails on that side of the magazine and it should operate properly. AS A REMINDER: ALWAYS REMOVE NAILS/STAPLES/BRADS WHEN NOT IN USE AS THIS WILL WEAKEN THE SPRING AND CAUSE FEED PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE.

Inserting brads into my Stanley TR250 Staple Gun

I bought one of these guns today and I had the same problem and it took me about 2 hours to figure it out as the instructions were very poor. Here how to load the brad nails:-

(a) Pull the slider bar all the way out
(b) Place the brad nail stick on the left side, IN FRONT OF the slider, NOT in the narrow gap in front of the two arrows where it says "LOAD BRADS"
(c) The nail heads should be facing the handle of the gun
(d) Close the slider and lock it
(e) Try it out. I tried nailing hardboard onto chipboard. The lever at low power only put the nail in about 30%. On Hi power it went in about 80%.

Good Luck
Peter

you can try and go to Stanleytools.com and get to their knowledge base of FAQ or they have a direct way to contact the company for the information you need. I was on their site and have seen better to help the end user.
