Blade MQX QUAD-COPTER

It's difficult to determine witch trim buttons effect the props. The only way to do this is durring flight. At low power, since you are working with 4 axis, each set of 2 buttons will effect the rotational speed of 1 motor. Typicaly in this set up, the left stick will control power and yaw(up and rotation left and right), while the right stick controls direction and pitch.(forward/reverse and bank left or right) Here is what I think you need. The left side bottom butons, control horizontal control. If you take off and notice the helo going to the left(banking, not turning) click the right button to attain horizontal stability. If you notice it is going slightly forward click the bottom button on the right side of the left stick. The same can be said with the axis control on the right stick. I hope to see this aircraft on youtube, as there is a shortage of these flying stabile anywere. good luck.

How could i use my iphone 4g to control my toy helicopter

Instructions
    • 1 Remove the main rotor blades, throttle up the helicopter while holding it in your hand and twist the helicopter from side to side to determine if the gyro is working. The gyro should make the tail rotor spin faster when the helicopter twists; you will be able to hear a difference. If the gyro does not appear to be working, replace it. Some gyros have a sensitivity adjustment screw; try making small adjustments if possible.
    • 2 Check the tail rotors and see if they are connected correctly. If the tail rotor blades are not pitched correctly they will not be able to hold the helicopter still.
    • 3 Test the tail rotor motor and see if it seems strong and responsive. Brushed motors, like those commonly used to drive tail rotors, can wear out in a relatively short time. Replacing the motor may solve your problem if the gyro seems to be working.
    • 4 Check the trim on your transmitter. Ideally the trim should be in the center of the stick movement. You may need to dial in some extra right trim or you may find the trim is set too far to the left.

My son's helicopter just spins around and won't lift up anymore. It has been sitting for about a month, but worked fine before that. Any solutions? Could the blades have been bent? They don't look like...

replace batteries with new ones and then you let it spin while you trim it out by pushing rotor button ,for heli that spins clockwise push trim button on left side and a heli that spins counter clockwise push trim button on right side continue pushing the corrective button until spining slows and eventually your sons heli will fly straight again these instructions are in the owners manual

Air hog havoc goes up and down just fine, no steering control

The steering control only makes the copter rotate.

But if the heli is properly balanced a right turn should get you some forward motion. A left turn should just make it spin back to the left.

Adding weight to the front of the copter will give it continuous forward motion. Then you will lose the ability to hover.

If you visit the Air Hogs website (www.airhogs.com), select "need help" and then Havoc Heli, then crash course, the video will show you how it works.

I also find that climbing makes the heli spin left and descending makes it spin right. So full right for initial startup, then a little right when climbing, and a little left when descending helps to smooth things out.

Keep in mind that this is a very small and cheap helicopter. It took me a while to get used to flying in circles to the right but with practice I have been able to get it to go somewhat where I want it to. I can take off and land from the coffee table without crashing.

How do I open my HPw 1907 Monitor

Start by removing the base. There are 3 screws. First pull the base plate off. Then remove 2 screws. Next remove the little rubber insert in the center of the base bracket. You will need a long phillips to get to the 3rd screw. Slide out the base bracket. Flip the panel over and stare at the lcd with the buttons side on the top. Grab a small flat head screw driver. Look at an angle in each of the corners between the inner black lcd trim and the silver outside trim. There is a ****. Shove the flathead in there and pry outward toward the silver trim while lifting on the black inner trim vertically. The trick is to flex the black trim toward the silver and then pull up. There are 6 plastic snaps on the top and bottom, and 4 snaps on the left and right. If you've taken laptop screens apart, you'll feel the similarity.

Once you pry the black trim off the front. Disconnect the LCD Menu button assembly and power button. Then flip over the LCD and lift off the back shell. Looking at the back, remove the 2 connectors for the speakers. Use a small flathead to pry the 4 Inverter power connectors. These 4 connectors have a clip on them and are usually hard to pull out using the wire. Once thoses 6 connectors are removed, remove the 2 phillips screws holding the AC power plug to the case. Also remove the 4 3/16 posts for the VGA and DVI ports. Next remove 4 screws, 2 screws from each side of the LCD assembly. Hold the panel face down with the aluminum tape in the bottom left. Lift the shield and guide the 6 wires through the cage. While opening, look inside and disconnect the flat ribbon cable as soon as you can. Put the LCD to the side. Remove 2 screws from the Video processing board, and 5 screws from the power supply. Note: 1 of the 5 screws is longer. Rotate/slide the power PCB away from the cage to clear the speaker and AC plug, Then rotate towards the Video board. Disconnect 1 plug. The OTHER plug is SOLDERED and must be disconnected from the video processing board.
