SOURCE: Sharp LC-26D43U Power light flashes and unit won't turn on?

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.

Here's a place I use to get parts for TVs:
http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=LC-26D43U&p=1
The problem is the repair shop may charge you double or three times of what the part costs at the web site link above. Then, plus labor. I just want to save you money. :)

SHARP TV MODEL LC-46LE830U WILL NOT TURN ON. I HAVE REPLACED THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD WITH NO HELP. IT HAS 2 BLINKING LED LIGHTS FOLLOWED BY 5 BLINKING AND REPEATING AGAIN. WHAT IS MY NEXT STEP?

It sounds that the main board fitted with your Sharp television is of Philips. Those blinks are fault indications, and you should follow the procedure of counting the number of blinks, as you do with Philips brand LCD TVs.
From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Counting of number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.

I have a sharp LC-60LE831U tv that is flashing a code on the power light 2 slow 5 fast. No picture or sound and factory resets I have tried do not seem to work, any ideas or suggestions.

Some model Sharp sets, they have used the Philips main board. Yours should be one like that. These blinking codes denotes it. That means; your TV is a not duplicate one. Sharp did it for some sets of their own. So, when you try to count the blinking codes of such set, you should follow the way of how to count the blinking codes to Philips TVs.
