No you have to change the DMD chip. It is mounted on the back of lens system.

Your projection lenses need to be clean including the lamp. Call the service technician in order to fix the problem.

Blue spots on the screen.


Assuming that an alignment tool is not your problem, if the blue spots are regularly arranged in rows and
columns, I would have to say that the blue filter of your three tube (red blue green) array needs service.

White spots on screen and growing every day


If these spots are small, they are likely the visual effect of a failing DLP chip. When some of the tiny mirrored surfaces on the chip stop moving, this is the result. This is not something you can fix yourself. A Samsung authorized service center will charge $400-$500 to replace it for you.

Spots on screen


If it looks fluid it's more likely something like windex or whatever you were using to clean the outer fresnal screen with got between the fresnal and lenticular screens. There are actually two screens there sandwiched together...

your unit needs the optical engine cleaned(the lcd panels).This should cost about 300 at a local tv shop
