How do I find a manual for central pneumatic 2-in-1 18 guage brad nailer/stapler kit 2 item 97524/40116?

Unfortunately, harbor freight retires nail gun models very often. They only list the current nail gun models on their web site, thus manuals and parts are only available for a short time. The only help is that the new models are similar to the old. Sometimes the internal parts are the same but at least the user instructions should be the same. Download various manuals from similar models on their web site today and compare. Do not order parts unless you are sure about fit. As far as orings, you can use generic also from harbor freight (oring kits in standard and metric, not expensive).
Good luck

I have NT32Ae2 brad nailer. It worked fine when first used it 2 yrs ago. It now will not pink up brads but the gun will fire. No problem with compressor. The driver will come down and mark the wood.

Make sure your using the right gauge brads for your gun, should have sticker on rail with required brad gauge, and max length. Sometimes a brad will get jammed under drive pin where you cant see, might have to remove allen screws over pin to get jammed brad out

Usually, a poping sound within the nailer is indication that the driver piston is stuck in place. The "pop" is air pressure entering the cylinder, however cant move the piston. Easy fix. Remove the head and pull out the cylinder and driver. If the driver stays stuck in the nose, loosen screws at nose and remove the driver. Most likely driver is bent (repair or replace as needed, driver sold in kit or seperately). Lube all internal parts with silicone paste lube. Most likely drivers to bend or get stuck is 18 and 22 gauge because they are so thin. Fifteen and sixteen gauge drivers last much longer but cost more. Order two drivers if you are driving nails into hardwood (good to have spare ready to go so you do not have to stop project). On very hard wood, may be good idea to drill a pilot hole part way in to prevent damage to driver. Good luck

You can reuse the oring from the old cylinder. Easy to install. The cylinder will break when the driver bends or breaks. If the driver looks good, dont worry about anything. Remove nails. Slip the driver into the cylinder and push driver and cylinder into body of the gun. Replace head.

Check the regulator gauge on your air compressor to make sure you have enough air pressure going to your nailer. After replacing my nailer because the driver wouldn't retract, I discovered, when the replacement nailer had the same problem, that I had somehow turned the regulator and decreased the pressure. Now I have two fully operational nailers.

Shoots staples fine but brads jam or bend. Check that the part called "guide bar", #35 on the parts diagram isn't getting stuck in the channel of part #30.

The guide bar retracts into the channel when driving a staple and springs out of the channel to guide brads.

The guide bar can get stuck in the channel if it's bent or gummed up. (Bent is likely the result of driving a brad into an obstruction.)

You broke the "hammer" you can open the housing and replace it, fairly simply. You can buy replacement parts at most large scale hardware or tool stores. The task takes about 10 min, and some simple hand tools.

Nails won't shoot

18 guage nailer has a very thin driver and plastic cylinder which bends or breaks easily. Remove the head noting all the parts in the head and remove the piston which should be at the top of the cylinder. Check for broken or bent shaft. Most likely broken and jammed in cylinder. Parts are not expensive. Check WWW.toolpartsdirect.com for diagram and parts
