SOURCE: can't align fence properly - table saw 36-650

Depending on the manufacturer it is possible to get a little movement from below but you don't want to through off the alignment to the table. If you do the the pusher will bind on the blade. You may be able to file off some of one of the adjustment screws or replace one with a longer one. Good luck

SOURCE: rip fence to saw blade alignment

I dont believe there are pictures, but what you need to do is move the fence to the blade, there are 2 10MM bolts on the backside that you need to loosen and then you can move the fence to square with the blade. Snug them down and move the fence and recheck let me know if you have anymore problems

Table saw blade alignment

Are you referring to the table top or rip fence alignment? The blade itself is not aligned. We adjust the table to parallel with blade and the rip fence should toe away from blade 0.01mm over the length of the rip fence to prevent binding.

I have a Pro-Tech table saw Model 4008 and neet a miter gauge assembly. The bar is 5/8ths. Any comparable replacements out there?

I tried all of my sources.
all I can suggest is try running an ad on Craigslist ... or search Pro-Tech there and see what pops up.I've seen them without rip fences , with bad motors etc. but otherwise complete for $30 ...
good luck.

If you can locate an old Delta Fence, I have seen those transplanted to a number of other table saws quite easily and reliably.

Otherwise aftermarket, there is the Beismeyer fence, it was adopted by Delta and licensed. You can get them through Delta or even Amazon. There are other vendors. You will want to add outfeed tables and extension tables as well.

You did not indicate which saw you have, but in general terms this applies to most saws.

How do i square the table to the fence on a dewalt table saw?

Normally we adjust the rip fence so that it toes out 0.10 mm over the lenghth of the rip fence. Some models have to have the trunion shimmed or the table removed/adjusted to achieve this. The toe out ensures no binding but doesn't effect the measuring. Note. adjusting the trunion is a large job.

I have a crftsman table saw mdl # 137228210 I purchased the saw used. I need a rip fence . the guides are allready there. any help would be appreciated

There's an exploded parts drawing and parts list at the link below. This may be useful to see what the fence is supposed to look like. It's not listed as an assembly, just a surprisingly long list of parts that would cost a fortune - if they were all available. Maybe you can find one on ebay. Barring that, you can always just clamp a board to the table to rip with - the hard part is getting the makeshift fence to be parallel to the blade. To do that you can use an adjustable square and measure from a miter slot in the table to get a quick and straight setup. Good luck.

Rip fence is out of alignment..what do I need to do?

This is the fundamental problem with rip fences on table saws. I don't know what kind of rip fence you have, but most rip fences are adjustable for squareness. However, unless you have a very nice (and expensive) rip fence, they often don't self-align when you move them anyway. If you have the type that clamps at the front and the back of the table, the problem can be overcome by making sure the rip fence is straight before you clamp it in place. The easiest way I have found to do that is to use an adjustable square. Put the front of the rip fence where you want it, then set the adjustable square so that it matches the distance from the miter slot in the table to the fence. Then move the square to the back of the table and move the back of the fence to meet the end of the square. Now clamp it in place and check the front and the back one more time. It's tedious to do this every time you adjust the fence, but you can get a perfectly aligned fence this way. This method assumes that your blade is parallel to your miter slots, which is adjustable too, but you have to get underneath the saw to do that. good luck, Al K

Need a rip fence

Howdy, Here is the ordering page link with the rip fence (called edge guide, part number 2610997206 by Bosch) from Bosch:

https://www.boschtoolsservice.com/Search/QuickPartsOrder.aspx

I would recommend looking in a pawn shop or ebay as the rip fence is nearly 100 dollars as a replacement part.

Hope this helps a bit:)
