Amber and green light keep flashing back and forth, not printing. I tried rebooting, nothing happens

Switch off the printer and disconnect from the power supply. Leave for 10 minutes and then try powering up again from cold. If you are still getting flashing lights please count the number of each flash and repost

This error indicates that the paper path motor stalled. Clear the paper jam, power off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.

Here's how to clear a paper jam from Xerox website, depending on the location of the paper jam:

Cx4200 epson printer, make noise, feeds paper but comes out blank. Have checked the ink on the cartridges and clean the nozzle heads. Left it unplugged over night

I don't know if the problem was fixed by the update or simply the reboot. (Rebooting just the printer had no effect.) Also, FYI, there had been a power outage right before the problem started, but I'm not sure how that would affect the issue, unless maybe the Mac had installed some problematic software during the reboot that obviously occurred after the power outage was resolved. Sometimes software updates don't complete until the next reboot, and she may have downloaded some updates long ago without completing the process with a reboot. Just guesses, but hopefully some of that help you too.

After power outage, printer displays not shut down properly and keeps rebooting.

Hold the "#" and "6" key down as it reboots. This is the equiv to a cold reset. However, I cannot setup my wireless now that I've done that done the reset. It immediately reboots and goes back into the same problem. So, has the wireless section gone bad??

Had a power outage, not a surge, now reads call for service.

Press "clear" and "8" simultaneously and hold, this should display the error code...what is the error code?

Power outage caused printhead error on HP 1055 CM design jet

turn off the printer, remove your jetdirect card(nic) sounds like your local tech doesn't know his **** from a hole in the wall. this should resolve your loop problem, if not then your main pca have been popped by the power outage. good luck.
