Question about Acer Veriton 5600G PC Desktop
Hi have a acer Vertion 5600g and want to replace the original case with a new one.. what are the things i need to consider..
I assume this is an ATX motherboard. Most cases should work. I think most cases come with a power supply but if not make sure yours will fit. I like cases with at least three drive bays which give room for expansion. The biggest problem I see with switching cases is connecting the wires for power button, hard drive LED, re-set button etc. to the motherboard. Maybe you will get a schematic with the case. Some boards are not marked very clearly in this area. You will need a magnifying glass to read this information on the MOBO. Trace the different colored wires back to the case to see what they do.
