Kenmore HE4T Elite F06 problems

I had the Sears service tech out 6 times and they could not figure out why the F06 kept flashing - especially on the heavy duty cycle - high speed spin - last 30 minutes of the cycle. According to them, everything was testing ok. I did buy the extended warranty (thank goodness) and Sears FINALLY did allow me to choose another washing machine. Hope this one doesn't have any issues.............

I'm not handy but for $30 and an hour of time I fixed my F11 Error code myself.

I took hi-res pics and created a step by step guide to help other folks in this predicament.

Given I had purchased the Extended Warranty, Sears replaced the washer. So, we will see how this one works.....

Stop frequently on spin and rinse cycle F6 code

I have a Kenmore Elite he4t front load washer that was working fine and then we moved and now it stops washing midstream and flashes an F and a H. I have to pause and restart then it will stop washing again after a few minutes and flash the same codes again. I reset again and then it stops with 1 minute left and will not drain.

Kenmore HE4t washer has an F06 code

"F06" is a motor speed error code. This means there is a problem with either the drive motor, motor control unit (MCU), or interconnecting wiring. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r714929-f06_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

I would begin by attempting to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main computer for the washer. Sometimes these error codes can be erroneous. If you unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes, this will reset the CCU. Often, this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches. If the error code reappears following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem.

If resetting the CCU doesn't work, verify all your connector plugs on the drive motor and MCU by unplugging and replugging each one (one at a time). Sometimes these connector plugs can vibrate loose.

If these preliminary steps don't work, follow the advice in the link provided. If you have any questions please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Kenmore Elite Oasis Model# 110.27087603

I had a very similar problem with my Oasis He Washer 110.27087603. The machine was randomly cycling through different water temperature indication lights. It would repeatedly beep and not allow a wash cycle to complete. Fixya.com alerted me to the "upgrade" to the electronic control W10112112 to W10189966. My machine was scheduled service and a Sears tech replaced that board. My problem with random cycling continued and the tech stated the touch panel electronics; part # 8564392 would fix the problem. He said one of the microswitches on the panel was probably stuck and not allowing the machine to enter a wash cycle. I found the 8564392 panel at http://www.prosupplyco.com/search.aspx?find=8564392 for a very reasonable price. Realize that Whirlpool parts are Whirlpool parts and Sears doesn't hold the only key to them.

Front Door Seal/Baffle Replacement

I need to replace a baffle from inside my Elite HE3T. Do you have directions? Only 1 came off but when I order the new one apparently it only comes in 3, so show I replace the other 2 as well? (if I can figure out how)

Of course the part did not come with any! And Sears customer service is of no help and the technical people have not responded to me.
Thanks,
