Things That Affect Wireless Router Signals
1. Many wireless routers are using the same wireless channel. Many manufacturers choose channel 6 as the default. Change to another channel. 2. Analogue video senders used to send audio and video to other TVs in the home. 3. Microwave ovens emit interference in the 2.4GHz band. 4. Wireless speakers and console controllers can cause interference with the wireless router. 5. Bluetooth devices, newer Bluetooth devices can jump to different frequencies if there is a connection problem. 6. Power cables located near the wireless router can cause dropouts and speed reduction. 7. Fish tanks will cause massive Wi-Fi shadow on the other side of the tank from the wireless router. 8. Depending upon the location of large mirrors will reflect wireless signal away your computer. 9. Building materials will block wireless signals such as plasterboards with metal foil, reinforced concrete walls and floors. Also objects near the wireless router such as metal filing cabinets and other electrical appliances. 10. Blinking Christmas lights can reduce Wi-Fi performance by 25% when it is close to the wireless router.

How can i boost and speed up my Wifi network reception ?

Firstly download WiFi Analyser from Google Play store and compare you WiFi with others in your area. This will enable you to change the channel. Change channel by logging into your router - 192.168.1.1.
Try moving your router to a more central place in your home and use the analyser to check if any improvement.
Next try a wireless extender. This will drop your speed a little but give a stronger signal in weak areas.
Also try power line adapters.
If you are using a few devices ensure that you are not mixing wireless g and n products at same time. Using a g product will mean that your whole wireless will be running at that speed even when your other device is n. If you need both connect another g router to one of the n router LAN ports with dhcp disabled. That way you can have the two devices connected at the correct speed.
Some routers will let you connect a bigger aerial which could boost you reception. Some devices have very poor wireless antennas - seems you what you pay for in this area.

Im trying to see a movie and it shows every movie but when i choose it to see it it just stay loding and then it says theres and erro with the netflix

Antonio,
I have see this in the past at my place and would recommend you the following,
Restart your device
Restart your Home internet connection
Connect your TV/any other device directly to the Modem
Or Improve your Wi-Fi Signal by
If you're connecting over Wi-Fi and the above steps didn't help, try some or all of these steps to improve your wireless connectivity:
  • Move your router to a new location to improve signal strength--you'll usually see better reception throughout your home if the router is in a central location.
  • Wireless interference can cause big problems when trying to connect over Wi-Fi. Cordless phones, microwave ovens, or other wireless devices near your router can all cause wireless interference, so move them away from your wireless router.
  • Elevate your router off the floor. A router on top of a bookshelf or desk will give you better reception than one that's hidden behind it.
Hope This helps

Reception very poor and sometimes nothing at all

Move the adapter much closer to your wireless router.
The reception should achieve "excellent".
Make sure that the antenna on the router is vertical,
unless you have more than one antenna.
In that case, follow the manufacturer's recommend for positioning and alignment of the antennas.

Apple Macbook Pro does not connect to wireless network

The antennas in the Macbook Pros have had an issue with reception due to the aluminum housing of the laptop but, should still receive decent reception just not as much as a plastic Macbook or plastic PC laptop. It could be possible that the antenna's cables have become disconnected from the Airport Extreme card inside your Macbook Pro, that the card itself is faulty or damaged or that the Antennas themselves have been damaged in some way. As always make sure you have the latest updates and have installed any driver updates from Apple regarding your Airport Extreme card. Here's an article that may help eliminate any wireless interference that may be affecting your signal strength. Apple - Wireless Interference hope this helps, if so don't forget to comment, vote, etc. Thank you.

Have good reception but neglects the ability to connect to the internet

You should check to make sure the network cable from your modem is connected securely to your "internet" port on your router. Also, ensure that all security for your router is properly set up on your wireless adapter.

Good Luck,

Bad WIFI reception

Yes. You can just deploy a Wireless Access Point or a Wireless Range Expander. What they do is they extend your signal from main router thus, if you're having low reception at one part of your house, deploy the Wireless Access Point there and it's gonna give you another excellent signal.

Wireless internet

Wireless range is pretty much limited to router placement and type (802.11N has longer range than 802.11B/G) so if you want to increase your range/reception use and 802.11N PCMCIA Card and 802.11N router
