Question about Sony Ericsson Cell Phones
I know the reason if we're talking about Nokia phones:
You need to have a Nokia PC Suite to have ability to detect your phone and you have to change the connectivity settings in phone to Nokia Ovi Suite.
But if your phone is not Nokia, sorry, I don't know everything about that. :)

i face d same problem....solution for this is u hve to buy s software & tool cd of d phone....n thn just insert d disk install d software..now u can access d memory card...n that cd contain so many other tools n software..try this out..i m sure this ll work

SOURCE: My Memory Card Doesn't Work
First step involves that you check if the memory card is password protected or not.if yes remove it and then try.this time it will work definitely .memory which are password protected are not accessed by computer and sometime you can get blue screen error also.so first remove password from memory card....let me know if this works
