Hello. The best way is to open Firefox Browser, Click on Orange FireFox button in top left, Click on Options, Click on Options again. Click on Privacy, Click on History. There are 3 choices. If you do not want Firefox to remember anything, Select NEVER REMEMBER HISTORY so nothing is remembered or else use Custom Settings. That will open and let you choose what to remember or not. Click on OK when done.
Hope this helps..

Iwant to delete bookmarks

  1. 1Open your Mozilla Firefox browser.
  2. 2Select the "Bookmarks" button from the file bar.

  3. Scroll down to the bookmark you wish to delete. Scroll down to the bookmark you wish to delete.
  4. 4Hold your mouse over the bookmark you wish to remove and right click.
  5. From the drop-down menu that appears, select the Delete button. From the drop-down menu that appears, select the Delete button.
  6. 6Alternately, delete all bookmarks in Firefox by deleting the bookmark file from Mozilla Firefox's user profile folder. (Note - This method will not work on Firefox 3. The bookmarking system has been changed from that of previous versions) This varies on each PC since the profile folder name is a randomly generated name, but here's an example:

    C:\Documents and Settings\(your account name)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\f1f2f3f4f5.default\bookmarks.html

I am trying to delete names out of the pop up boxes when tryimg to long onto yahoo , facebook, people that have used the computer and just scroll to their name and click and it will go to your username in...

Actually, it depends on what internet browser you are using.

For Firefox:
Using the Up or Down keys on your keyboard, or moving your mouse cursor above an auto-complete entry "selects" it. To delete this entry and permanently remove it from Firefox's internal auto-complete database, hit Delete (Del), and the entry is gone.
**To remove multiple auto-complete entries from Firefox, keep your mouse cursor above the first or second, and repeatedly hit the Delete key.

It is almost the same thing with Internet Explorer:

Launch Internet Explorer. Browse to the website for which Internet Explorer is saving the undesired AutoComplete entry. Click in the box on that website where the username would be entered. A drop-down list containing your user name should appear. If it does not, type the first few letters of the user name until you can see your user name on the drop-down list.
Press the down arrow key on the keyboard until the username that you would like to delete the AutoComplete entry for is highlighted.

Press the "Delete" key. A message will appear asking if you are sure that you want to delete that AutoComplete entry. Click "Yes" to confirm.

How do I recover a lost Hotmail password If I can't even remember the birth date that I used for that account?

There are two ways you can proceed.

One, you can ask Microsoft to reset the password for the account:
http://explore.live.com/windows-live-sign-in-cant-faq

Or you may be able to retrieve the password from the computer's browser (if you have accessed Hotmail from that computer). You can do that with some free software:
MSNLivePasswordDecryptor by SecurityXploded
Download the program at http://www.securityxploded.com/msn-password-decryptor.php , and then install. The program will display the user name (email address) and password for any MSN/Windows Live account (including a Hotmail account).

If you use Firefox as your web browser, it's much easier to retrieve a stored password. Just go to Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords
