Cant find in system drivers after restore before i restored hp mediasmart webcam wasnt in the drivers but i was able to search it in start menu and open from there but then it said no camera detected if using integrated camera turn it on i called hp but i guess the warranty up and i had to pay just so speak to someone ill put my email up as i will greatly appreciate your help thankyou for reading and your time we can discuss compensations for your help over email as well
You should be able to choose from the drop down in software. Try reinstalling. HP MediaSmart Webcam Software.

i downloaded it couple times already once b4 recovery then twice after still nothing appears for imaging in device manager even installed you cam said its not compatible with me windows or sumn but then i re choose the compatbility to windos vista spk2 and it started but i got same camera not detected turn on integrted camera is it not plugged in internally i read that in some hp laptops the black cord gets moved around and becomes unplugged could this be why cause i have no clue how to turn it on
also is there hp true vision webcam program that i am suppose to have because thats what it says nextto my cam on my laptop but when i google it no kind of programs came up for hp truevision your post was very helpful and i apprecite ur time and input

WebCam Issue..install Lenovo Energy Management Driver to use ""Fn"" key to enable Camera & Need to restart the system. Now enable camera with ""Fn+Esc"", now you will find system camera is Enabled & then install Camera driver & install EasyCapture or YouCam to use Camera.
