Question about Washing Machines
It indicates a leak has activated the flood protection device in the base. Lean the machine forward (or backward) & see if water runs out of the base. If it does you may be able to restart...but the source of the leak will need to be identified & fixed. I think it would be wise to remove the lid & check if the inlet valve has popped first.

Our LG washing machine had an AE error because we put in too much washing powder and water overflowed. We unscrewed the back panel and soaked up the water on the bottom of the machine with a dry cloth. Cloth has to be wrung and soaked a few times to get rid of all the water in the machine. Really easy considering we arent the most handy people. Lesson to learn is to use front loader washing detergent and not to overdo the amount of detergent. Hope this helps.

the AE code means that there is water in the base I found that the steam heater element in mine was leaking so after a quick repair using silicon and a good clean after drying the water out of the base it now works again
PS I used to be a washing machine repair engineer! I wouldn't suggest that you start opening up your washing machine!!!!

OE is drain error..Most likely problem is partially blocked pump filter...This is accessed via the small door at floor level...Unscrew the pump cover and clear the filter..Any water in the machine will flow from the pump cover...Empty the machine first...Leaning it back can help....Good luck....Nomess
