try the aspect ratio adjustment there should be a button on the factory remote that says aspect or pic size try 16.9 or full

Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.The tv will be resetting itself back to the factory setting.Now the tv should be working again.If it still have the same problems.The tv have a power supply board problems.That the board,where the a/c power cord plug into it.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

They are Metric screws M5 or M6 that you can get from HD or Lowe's for about 25 cents each.

Where is the headphone jack

As far as I can tell, there is no headphone jack. But, there is a 3.5mm PC Audio jack used as a line-in for audio from a computer (or any other device that uses a headphone jack to output). It is located to the right of the PC/VGA port and below the HDMI ports. Here is a link to a picture of the rear of the TV:

I have a panasonic model number TC-P42X1 and i have no picture or sound. and the red light flashes every 4 seconds none stop

I had a similar problem with my Hisense TV and I replaced the "Main Board". Got the part on ebay. Don't know if this will help.

I just bought a Panasonic TV model TC L37E3 and I do not know how to coneect my external speakers. Please help me as I feel very frustrated by now. Carlos

Carlos, I just bought an LCD tv too. To connect external speakers to mine I had to buy some high end 5 channel pc speakers and connect them through the headphone jack(I know how stupid that sounds considering we spend $1000.00 on a TV and thats my only option for external speakers.I looked at your owners manual and didn't see a headphone jack though so you may have to opt for speakers that plug in with through the usb port. Some new tvs won't support external speakers unless you use complete home theater surround sound system which will connect through the rca cables (red,white)
