Cd changer drawer is stuck

Hi. I have the Philips CDR820 4-Disc CD Recorder. The changer drawer is jammed and will not open when I press the button. I know there is a similar problem already posted, but I found the solution very unhelpful. Can I please get a more detailed explanation. Thanks!

It is a 5 disc changer. The drawer will not open and it now has 4 cd's stuck inside the changer. It also will not play any of those "stuck" cd's.

THis happens when the drawer is jammed. Turn off the unit and turn it on and then use the disc skip from the remote so that the cds inside will change and then press the Open button.
