Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

open audio devices and sound properties in your device manager. Is your sound card listed? If so, highlite it and select properties...then see if it is enabled...if not, click enable this device. If not listed, try re-installing it with install new hardware. Finally, if its there, but wont enable, remove the device and reinstall it. If all the above fails, replace the sound card if its not intigrated. if it is intigrated, buy a PCI Plug and play sound card and install it in a pci slot.

I have an intigrated motherboard, I've changed speakers and installed a new sound card why am I still getting a distorted sound...even from start-up

the mother board may be the problem it has happened to me before i checked all the wiring and all the slots and made sure everything was plugged in correctly, i also took the clock battery out this resets the mother board and it can solve small problems like this one unplug it from the wall when you do this to make sure it resets everything then put it back together after about 5 min and it should work properly again
