Question about Televison & Video
Tried with other ac outlet doesn't work?. if still won't turn on, at this time you will need to remove the rear cover to gain access the internal part. since your tv doesn't have any power indicator, the first place to be checked will be the power supply board this is where the power connector cord is connected. now look for a blown fuse replaced with the same rating. but take note before you replaced the bad fuse you must need to have component testing in the power supply board which the cause of blown of the fuse. like shorted bridge diode, open resistance and defective mosfet or bad regulator ic.at this time you will need a device called digital tester to check weather the parts need replacement.hope this can help good luck.

SOURCE: my tv won"t turn on.
1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear
I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.

SOURCE: how to reset lg lcd tv
Whe you press the power button the TV led have to blink several times and the it have to change to blue, meaning Tv is on.
If you press the power button and the led start blinking and goes off, then you need to replace the mainboard because it is damaged.

A common problem for these is bad capacitors in the power supply, Remove the back from your Tv and look at the power supply on the left hand side.
You will see roughly around 9 x capacitors that are bulged / domed shaped on top usually these are valued at 3300uf 10V any that have bulged or leaked a brown like substance should be changed.
This will cure the problem as they overheat being sat next to a heatsink that gets very hot!
Try and change them for the same 3300uf but a higher voltage.
Hope this helps
