If there are just two terminals (which is usual for drier elements), it doesn't really matter - just put them on whichever way seems tidiest.

If there are three, then you need to make sure that the green wire with the yellow stripe goes to the metal body of the element (usually via the fixing nut). The other two go to the main terminals in whichever order feels tidiest.

How do I change the fuse on the 1215? Do I need to take the stacked drier off or is there a trick to open the panel open up?

Here is a link for the service manual:

Miele brand in general is a bear to work on and find parts for. I really hope the problem is just a blown fuse for your sake. If you look at the wiring diagram, you will see "S2" switch with the fuse on it. You can get at it by taking the top off and could test the fuse with a ohm meter..with the unit unplugged. You may have a bigger issue as when that fuse blows the motor could have an issue or the control itself.

ZWD 1662 W start/Pause button flashing but not connecting to programme

hi,if this is the washer drier type try this, unplug m/c!! take lid off and locate the four connections to the drier unit near the back panel.some connections will be double tagged others single tag.disconnect all four connections and let wires dangle down a bit ,they shouldn`t touch anything.plug m/c back in and try a program such as drain and spin, and then if ok try a fill.the reasoning behind this is that the drier element goes faulty and gives a false reading to the control pcb.if this is successful ,replace the drier element.another option if any of that doesn`t work ,check carbon motor brushes.

Changing washing machine heating elemant

washers dont have heating elements, they use hot water from the hot water tank, most likely clogged screen at either end of the hot water hose, replace or clean screen(s) check for screen at water valve, bad, weak or burned solenoid on water valve, replace valve, reason wash cycle is long----- water restriction during fill and rinse cycles they are controlled by the water level switch

Do I need a part to convert my Maytag gas dryer/washer combo back from propane to Natural Gas?

Yes you can, but whether you should is another matter. I purchased a new dryer and needed it to be propane need to get the proper orifice (which lets the gas in to the burners) changed out. Natural gas orifice has a larger hole than a propane orifice. In addition, the regulator must be modified. It may involve flipping an insert under the cap (typical of stoves) or it may require conversion parts packed in the conversion kit (order one specific to your drier). This regulator is part of the piping within the back of the drier.

Incidentally, conversion orifice(s) should be included with the drier and screwed to the body in a clip. When you change it over and label the equipment as converted to propane, put the old natural gas orifice in the clip and screw it back onto the body. Put the instructions in a paper envelope and tape to the outside of the body of the drier.

Have a Duet GHW9250MWO washer; got an F05 error. What do we do?

An F05 is a water temperature sensor error.

This occurs if there is a problem detected during the heating step of the wash cycle.

You will need to check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and the Heating Eleme

I ran the drier 3 times using medium press. The heat is on and it is hot, but the clothes is not dry.

Hi, Does this dryer heat at first and then stop heating late in cycle?
Remove the lower front panel and start the dryer. Look and see if the ignitor glows and if you get a flame or not. If the ignitor glows and then shuts off before you get a flame, the coils on top the gas valve need changed.
If the ignitor does not glow, UNPLUG the dryer and check the fuse located on the blower housing (whits with two wires going to it). Check and see if it has continuity to it.If there is no continuity, change it.
Please let me know if this helps you so far.
