If there are just two terminals (which is usual for drier elements), it doesn't really matter - just put them on whichever way seems tidiest.

If there are three, then you need to make sure that the green wire with the yellow stripe goes to the metal body of the element (usually via the fixing nut). The other two go to the main terminals in whichever order feels tidiest.

We need to know where the heating elemant is to change it

With the greatest respect if you have to ask that question then you are not competent to change the element; it would be a danger for you to do so as you might kill yourself or others by electrocution.

If you are curious look on google images and you will then be able to recognise what an element looks like. Did you specify the make and model only it isn't shown in the question?
Not much point in soliciting a vote, but then the way you could look at this is that I saved you from potential electrocution or fire.
By the way it is spelt element not elemant.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

I have the mount for a Kenmore 80 series dryer removed, but need to change out the heating element. How do I remove the element itself?

Remove the panel from the rear of this drier. You will see the contained heating unit there with wires hooked to it.
First unhook these wires, noting the position they are pluged in so to put them back the same
Then you will see one screw at the top with a "bracket" holding the top of the elemant assembly on. Remove this screw and lift up on the element assembly and it will just fall out.
Reinstall the new assembly in the same manor as you removed the old one.

I need to change the plug on the drier but the new plug has 4 wires and the back of th drier only have 3 places. how do i connect it

Run the Green wire to the frame of your machine. You will also need a new plug and maybe a new wire back to your power panel.

This may be a job for a pro unless you are familiar with 220 and heavy conductors.

Roper Drier no heat and continuous run for two hours

Your drier heating elements operates on 220 voltage, the drum and clock operate on 110, so you either have a blown fuse in one side of the fuse box ( easy fix )some time the circuit breaker will just need to be reset by turning it off and back on, or your heating elemant has opened up and will be more expences to fix, or it could just be a wire end has burned off. unplug plug from outlet remove back from drier and have a look see, and if bychance you have forgotten to clean your link trap if could be a high temp safety that has open and sometimes can be reset by pushing the reset button, all this is inside the back of the drier, if after that it may be time to call your friendly repair shop

Changing 3 wire to 4 wire cord on dryer [electric type]

If you had a 3 wire system and need to adapt your drier to a 4 wire system.. here is how you do it.. Your 4 wire cord should have the following colored wire ends.. Red, Black, White and Green.. The red and black are the power leads and should be attached to the red and black terminals on the back of the drier.. The White wire is Neutral and should be terminated on the white terminal of the drier.. The green wire is Ground and should be attached to the nearest frame or chassis screw at the point of entry into the drier.. If you are using a metal cable clamp as part of a feedthru system to get the cord into the drier.. you can attach the green wire to one of the screws on that.. but that should be done only if you canot find a suitable frame ground screw near the terminal block.. Hope this helps...
