Question about Hotpoint First Edition FEW12 Front Load Washer
I have put it on cycles wash, rinse and spin but none are empting the water out well they must be as it has had 3 cycles and the drum isnt full to the top etc
it says prog end but the drum has water in it and the door wont open due to the drum still having water in etc
how would i know if the pump is not working etc
bring back the old fashioned ones where you click it to just spin they were so much easier thanks
You need to check the pump filter which is accessed by removing lower rear panel of washer.
On the right you will see a large black hose, ondo securing clip and remove hose, be careful because there will still be water in it.
Better still , lay hose down into a bowl or similar to drain any remaining water in m/c.
Inside you will see the plastic filter, remove and clean, refit filter and hose, make sure you get it on properly
Test it for leaks, and that should be it.
If it still does not drain then you need to check the pump is o/k.
You can do this by listening or feeling if you can hear the pump going.
Any more info , let me know.
Plz rate my solution.
