What is the cause of line onthe printed image


It's very likely that you have a clogged nozzle on one of the lines. I've owned a number of Epson printers, and they have proved to be great value for the money, but this does happen now and then.
Fixing it - Quoting from their support page (See below for URL) "Please use the printer driver to print out the nozzle check pattern. If there are missing lines in the pattern, it is recommended to run the head cleaning function. If the symptoms still persist after running
the head cleaning twice, it is advised to run the Power Ink Flushing once to see if quality improves. * This function consumes a lot of ink. Before using this function, make sure there is enough ink in the
ink tanks. If there is not enough ink, please refill the ink tanks."

I have had to do this as much as 3 times on some printers, but fortunately the occurrences were few and far between. Note this DOES consume a lot of ink, so stop and check each test before calling another run.

Another possibility if your printer has ALWAYS done this: Change the type quality to "best" quality. It'll slow it down a bit, and use a LITTLE more ink, but not much. Good luck.

My print outs are having lines across them


You need to have your printer go thru head cleaning cycle. Check to make sure the ink is not leaking from the cartridge. Are you using OEM ink or second hand?

CLP-310N is printing blank pages


Open the front cage, an eject the Tambor Case, you will find a small case that contain the poudre o laser ink, clean it than replace it

If a line doesn't print, the ink is out of the cartridge for that inkjet cartridge color. Replace the cartridge. Deep cleaning can use a lot of ink up at a time.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Turn the printer on. Now raise the lid of the cartridge cage and wait for the cartridge carrier to slide out. Lift the cartridge holder lid and remove the cartridge. Before installing the new Cartridge, remove the tape from the ink opening point on the bottom. Now insert the new cartridge into the cartridge case and close the cartridge holder lid. Close printer cover. After doing all the above steps, print a test page.

Horizontal lines (red) on first 1 - 2 pages of initial print-out


Do you refill ink tank? Print blank pages. Is there horizontal lines appear? It might be caused bay ink leakage. Check respiratory hole at ink tank and rubber seal at bottom of ink tank. Print blank pages until no horizontal lines and try to use new ink tank.

Prints half the line


It sounds like your print head is dirty. Try cleaning the printhead in using the printers options, If that does not work replace the black printhead.

Change all ink problem


1- powering off the printer and leaving it for 30 sec. then powering back on... test
2- power off, open the cage, move cartridge caddy to center to remove cartridges... clean cartridges nozzles with a damp cloth, clean cartridge connectors as well as cart caddy connectors with a soft cloth.. no water. re test by replacing the cartridges and powering on the printer.

if the operator still has the message. power of, try with 1 cartridge at a time, turn on printer and try to COPY any document...

if all of that is still failing, then as the Lexmark rep told me, i'm sorry for any inconvenience this brings you, you have a defective printer.

Variable ink darkness


If the printer has been used exrensively then its probably the printhead that needs replacing. The i70 printer uses a QY6-0046-000 Canon Printhead Printheads are available from many sites on-line and thru PC World
