How do u wire athermostat to the furnance and ac unit on model e3eb-015h nordyne

You need to get low voltage wire known as 5 wire. run wires thru wall to stat and furnace Red wire goes to R terminal white to W terminal Green to G terminal Yellow to Y terminal on both the stat and furnace circuit board. Now you need a wire called 2 wire low voltage wire run that from furnace circuit board to outside A/C. At furnace hook red wire to Y terminal and white to C terminal doesnt matter which ones you hook up at outside unit. Do it just like i told you this will work properly.
If this helps please rate me.

It has a white wire, red wire, and bare wire but I on have 2 black wires and one bare wire for ground that comes out the wall.I don't know what hooks up with what

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

What is the model number so I can look up the installation procedures for THIS oven?

Usually for a 3 wire connection it will be connected as follows:
1 WALL black to the left terminal block terminal
The bare copper wire to the center terminal of the terminal block
2nd WALL black to the right terminal of the terminal block

See this picture link:
http://www.ask-the-electrician.com/images/RANGE%203-WIRE_CORD_CONNECTION_250.JPG

If you notice in the picture it shows a black red and white connection.

Red = black for your connetion 115VAC
White = bare wire neutral Ground
Black = 2nd black for your connection 115 VAC

When the power is connected properly and using the house wires as a reference if you are
reading it with a meter you would read EITHER black wire to the bare wire = 115 - 120VAC
Reading Black to Black = 230 - 240 VAC

If you still have questions feel free to respond here and I will gladly help you.
Thanks for choosing FixYa.

O = Reversing valve probably white or orange If you get heat when calling for cool or Vice Versa then switch wire from O to the B terminal.
Y = Contactor usually yellow
G = Blower usally green
Jumper Aux to E need to go to unit and use the wire that goes to your Auxiliary or 2nd stage heat

Make sure you go to your unit and only hook these wires up if they go to these locations.

How do i hook up my dryer from a 3 prong to a 4 prong

UNPLUG DRYER FIRST.

Remove old cord from back of dryer. Make note of where white, back and red wire hook to on piece of paper.

New cord has 4 wires. looking at the back of dryer,

RED Wire, should have been tied to terminal screw on right side,

WHITE Wire, should have been tied to center terminal,

BLACK Wire, should have been tied to left terminal,

Remaining wire is GREEN, attach to body ground screw located next to cover plate, screw is generally painted green. IF not attach to unit body.

if ur are replacing the heater and it was originally 220/240 ur wiring should b ok but to b sure trace the line wire back to breaker panel and look at breaker the white and the black should b hooked up to separate breakers if the white is hooked up to a ground bar usually on the inside side of the panel and the black hooked up to breaker ur line is 110/120 and will cause problems when hooked up. if the lines r 220/240 than red can hook up to white and black to black

I am attempting to replace an old bathroom exhaust fan with a Broan 680 fan/light. I am having a problem with the wiring. There are 2 wall switches for the light and fan. The existing wiring has red,...

The red and the black are the hot wires. One will be the fan and one is the light. The white is the 'common' for both fan and light.
It sounds like the new fixture has got one hot for both the light and fan, they will both run all the time from one switch. This is the blue wire. Hook it to the red or the black, which ever one comes from the switch you want to control it. Hook the white to the white on the new fixture.
The green is just a ground. hook it to the new fixture green or ground terminal. Cap or the black or the red that you don't use. It won't be need for the new one. The switch that it comes from will not control anything now.

I have a travel trailer with a roof top a/c colman mach111 and I hooked up a thermostate digital. The heat works but cant get a/c to come on. the termanials on hunter thermostate are G W Y RC RH

OK, the wiring that you should have in your RV is as follows: Red White Blue Yellow Green Gray.

This Thermostat will not work on this Air conditioner because the tstat you are installing is a 24V thermostat. The connections are as follows G = Fan, W = White, Y = Cooling, RC = 24V Cool, RH = 24V. The only thing that I can think to do is hook it up like so.

On the G Terminal, Hook up the Green wire from the wall. On W, hook up the White wire, Y, hook up the yellow wire. RC = run a jumper from the RH terminal, RH = hook up the red wire. If this doesn't work then you will have to go back with the coleman thermostat.

Wireing code from goodman heat and air to a Hunter 44360 programa

To get your heat going take the red wire hook it up to R on t-stat. Take white wire and hook it to W on t-stat. Take the green wire and hook it to G on t-stat. that will get you heat. Now I need for you to go to the unit where the wires hook to the furnace circuit board. I need to know what color wires go to what on the board. Might have to take off bottom panel. should only be using 4 or 5 wires. Get back with me and will complete the wiring. Be sure no wires at the t-stat are touching each other as this will short out transformer. So tape them off or cut flush so wire and insulation are flush. ken
