SOURCE: wall oven too hot,at 350

you need a new thermostat control. or purchase a small oven thermometer and us it to adjust/compensate the oven temp by lowering the setting to 300.
only other option is to purchase a new oven.
check with a local repair shop on price to install a new thermostat control unit. if the unit is over 10 years old, it would be more economical to replace the unit entirely.

SOURCE: blackened pans, high flames in oven even at 200 degrees

You still have not answered the questions I asked you, and you have posted your question under an electric range model. I will just have to guess and give you general info due to the lack of information you have given.
I will guess that you are using your range on LP gas. You don't compain of top burner performance, so I will take that to signify that the regulator has been changed from natural to LP, and that the burner orifices have been changed as well. That leaves only the oven. You need to find the spot where the gas comes out of the safety valve and travels up the venturi tube to the oven burner. There will be a small (about 3/4 inch square) adjustable air flow hole there, and right there you will see a brass collar. Use a 1/2 inch wrench to turn that brass collar three full turns clockwise. (it is usually easier to count 12 one quarter turns) If someone has tried to do this step, it may be part way turned in already, so you may not need to, or be able to, turn it three full turns. You do not want to turn it too far, but it will take a little effort. If flames are still too high, turn it a little more. Usually, the square air hole should be left all the way open.

Hi My duke 6/13 oven is smoking and is not supossed to do that Any advice on this matter ?

check to see if any food has dropped on the elements, if it is food then monitor it until the food is burnt off , if it is not food i would turn it off at your fuse box and call an engineer or like minded family member to take a look at it, hope all goes well.

Does it matter what shelve you smoke food on?

sure does , it more matters what food goes on what shelf , if you smoke meat and its cut about 3/8 thickly then you use a higher shelf, but if u smoke meat and its whole (takes a long time that way) then use the lower racks , it will be harder for the smoke flavor to penetrate inside the thicker meats , same goes 4 fish , thinner cuts top shelf , thicker cuts bottom shelf (unless you only want the smoke flavor on the crust ) then do just the opposite then

Smoking Oven when using grill

It appears that the smoke is excess fat / food splatters that have landed on the grill element. If you had a faulty element it would not work period Also check that any boil overs from pots above are not finding their way to the rear of the element.

Smoke come up from bottom of 3-month new smeg oven SA702X when try to heat up

Smoke coming from the oven is not normal. Ensure that the smoke is not vapour coming from the food inside the oven.

If there is vapour coming from the hinge area, then ensure that door and hinges are installed properly.

If you get smoke from the oven, try cleaning the oven cavity, follow the instructions on manual to clean the oven.

If after cleaning the oven, there is still smoke coming from the bottom side, then call Smeg and have the oven replaced. There is one or two years warranty on the appliance.
Smeg support and service phone number is listed in the oven manual.

If you cannot get to clean it fully then open your windows, place a fan in the doorway to encourage the smoke to leave the house and put it on a cleaning cycle.
Use aluminium foil to line the base of the oven rack. That will stop this from happening again when your containers are overfilled.

Take the cover off that is surrounding the fan and you will probably find food or something there or on the fan blades. If it is not a food smell, then there is probably some wiring that is burning. I suspect that there is food behind the housing of the fan.

Smoking Fan Assisted Oven

Is the smell a food smell or other smell. If it is food, then some food has gotten behind the blower motor. Clean behind it good. Even some small particles have gotten in there somehow. You can also feel thye sufaces of the oven and tell if there is some buildup.
