I have the same problem. Rescanned and got 90 channels - clicked save and after 10 minutes nothing had happened so switched set off. Since then cannot access DTT channels or able to rescan.

My Dell has done exactly the same, I did a re-scan and it found 113 channels, it Ok to save nothing happened for 15 minutes so switched unit off and found that the DTT no longer initializes, I have tried to re-scan but just freezes at channel 21, Dell don't want to know so I have just subscribed to Sky and using the unit as a monitor.

Dell (Hell) Knew about this problem for the past three years they have compensated all buyers in the USA including full refunds and replacement TV's but refuse to repair or extend warranties in the UK , dell asked for £1048 to repair my set, having written to dell many times I still get a phone call from the supposed great customer care telling me theres nothing they can do I contacted them when my TV was only 3 months old I was told to switch it off for three minutes and then back on again it did work for a couple of months then nothing (fantastic repair service ??) then when I asked for an extended warranty I was told the service was not available for non constructed dell tv's VERY SUSPICIOUS

How can i rechannel my tv according to our local tv here in the philippines?

You will need to do a channel scan to locate the local signals.
This is in the menu of the TV format. The scan will go thru all of the tuners available channels both digital and analog, could take several minutes to complete depending on your set.

Sony bravia no digital channels

If you've tried different antennas did you attempt to re-tune/re-scan for additional channels after switching? For digital channels to be detected they must be scanned for, so consult your manual on how to perform an automatic scan of the digital channels available in your area.

Hi, I live in a flat in London with a shared rooftop aerial (no idea of spec). I have a Sony KDL-46X2000. The built-in freeview tuner doesn't seem to recieve any HD channels. Is the built-in tuner the...

Make sure you have a good connection from antenna to TV. Check antenna and cable and cable connection to TV. Select DIGITAL button on TV remote when wanting HD channels. Remember HD channels are always digital. Also, any given TV station may not be broadcasting in HD at a given time. They can broadcast in digital but in standard definition sometimes. Your TV has a built-in DVB-T tuner. Try executing a channel scan to pick up all available channels. On-screen menus go to Digital Setup, then Digital Tuning, you can auto-tune or manual tune channels. The TV should take a few min. to scan thru available channels and store the channels its finds. Check with anyone in your area to see if they get HD channels (it is possible to be outside of the range of some TV stations) Your TV is a 2006 model and should still be compatible with local digital TV broadcasts but keep in mind digital signals could change in the near future (DVB-T2) and you may need a tuner/converter box to make the TV compatible.

Hi,

Your TV has a dual tuner - one for analogue and one for digital although they are contained on the same tuner board. It's possible that the digital tuner has failed, in which case the tuner board will most likely need to be replaced, but often this problem can be resolved with a "hard" reset. Turn the TV off and unplug it. Remove all the cables from the back, leave it for at least 5 minutes and then re-connect only the cable from the tuner source. i.e aerial/antenna. Make sure you are in Digital TV mode (DTV), then run the channel scan again.

If it works turn the TV off, re-connect all of your other devices and you should be able to resume using the TV as normal.

If this doesn't work, you may need to have the digital tuner replaced. The analogue and digital channel feeds are from the same source. As the analogue channels are working there is no obvious fault with the feed or cables.

Please try this first and then post back for further assistance if needed.

Regards,
BElectric

How do I connect antenna for digital tv and program/scan for available channels

Hello Scott:
The unit must have a digital Tuner in it. This model do not come with a digital turner, so you are going to need a digital to analog converter box. And a High Definition Antenna. Once you have obtained these units go to your menu and select setup and switch to the the air mode and select channel scan.

Not able to scan for digital OTA channels on a JVC LT-32X667 LCD

Seeing as it does not have a digital tuner in it, I would think this would be the problem, you will have to get a box for it.

Locked out of digital antenna in setup. I had it

1. ensure that you are on the TV tuner when you are trying to scan channels
2. if analog tuner works, but you cannot access digital tuner....the digital tuner is broken

When you turned channels before, did it switch between analog and digital channels seamlessly or did you need to press a button to acces digital channels seperately?

If you accesed digital channels seamlessly, #2 is not likely
If seperately, #2 is very likely.

Have a vizio lcd tv . can not get any channels today with the switch over to digital. i use an antenna

Your TV probably does not have a digital tuner connected to the DTV/ANT input. Mine didn't. I had to connect the digital antenna to a digital converter box THEN go to the DTV/ANT input. Only then would it activate the DTV menu and allow me to scan for channels. If your TV worked fine with Cable TV connected to the input, it was because your signal was coming from the digital tuner in your DVR, or your cable provider was sending you an unscrambled digital signal (not likely).
I used a digital converter box I had purchased with the government $40 coupon back in 2009 but the resolution is only 480 and looks like a Monet or Renoir. Now I am shopping for a high quality tuner.
