SOURCE: On a Kenmore dishwasher-model#66513153K701(techsheet is missing)--clean

if the clean light is blinking 7 times in the unit you would have to check the element if the element is not heating the diswasher shuts down and goes no further into any cycle due to it not being able to heat the water you can also see here by clicking this link as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hv7xOaucH7I if the element were to test fine then next you would have to test the triac and the relay both are found in the machine control and in order to replace you would have to replace the control alot of people think this is 6 lights also First thing to do is do a continuity test or ohm the element and feel the element for any pits or bumps in the element manufacturer replacement part number is 8537057 on the element if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me tocontinue helping others in similar situations in the future. I look forward to if you have any further replies Thanks again Rick

SOURCE: Kenmore Dishwasher Mod# 66513753K602 control panel lites

If there is no other problem, that is the dishwasher completed the previous cycle successfully and the only issue is all lights on the panel flashing, it is likely a problem with one of the switches in the panel.

Turn off the power and back on. If no change then get to the control panel. You can refer to this diagram item 1.

Might have to replace it.

Assuming you have tried to check the mains power circuit breaker/ fuse is still in tact, the most likely cause is the heat fuse tripping. This is located inside the control panel.

See item 18 on this diagram.

Hope this helps.

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

I have a Bosch SHU9955US/14 (Integra) dishwasher. There is currently a 0 with and asterisk showing on the display and the unit will not run.

Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

I start the dishwasher and it does nothing and lights do not turn on either

When your dishwasher won't start, it could be a problem with your electrical panel or the door might not be closing properly.

Check your household electrical panel for a tripped breaker or blown fuse. Also check to make sure the door latches closed properly.

For additional troubleshooting steps you can take and things you can do, read Dishwasher won't start for more suggestions. I hope this helps!

Clean light keeps blinking; dishwaher won't turn on

Hello Brian, welcome to FixYa.
Based on your post I understand your dishwasher is a Kenmore and the clean light is flashing and it won't start, correct ?
If so, this is usually an error code indicating there was a problem in the heating process the last cycle it ran, however if you could provide the complete model number I could speak specifically to whether it applies to your machine and potentially what to do about it.
Thank you for choosing FixYa and I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)

Mod..#17779 dishwasher problem: Lock On lite will not go off so you can start the dishwasher. I push tyhe no-heatbdry, but still won't go off.

Hi

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue returns after its cleaned then try to reset the dishwasher control by pressing the NO HEAT DRY button and hold it for 15 seconds, if its still not resolved then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

KENMORE 665 MODEL DOES NOT START AND NO LITE INDICATOR VISIBLE WHERE DO I START?

I would start by checking the door lock mechanism. It won't start if the door isn't sending the message to the control panel that it is closed.
