CHECK ALL ELECTRICAL WIRES MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY LOOSE ENDS,ALL SHOULD BE TIGHT.
IF IT STILL DON'T WORK TRY WITH A OTHER POWER SUPPLY.

Couldn't locate documentation on this unit, no 1520 listed. Typically both card slots must be filled and of matching size/speed etc. Good luck.

I have a dell inspiron 1501.its lcd display not working

Hi there!

You can try a few things to check if there is something
wrong with the hardware of the computer.

First, try to update the video driver and also the BIOS
which you can get from the support website of DELL.

If the same problem persist try to run the LCD test .
While the computer is off press d+power the test should run and if it is an LCD problem, the display will either be blank or distorted.

Or if you will be able to re seat the cable connector
of the LCD that can be a good thing to try.

Hope this helps!

The screen needs the back light repaired. Just contact Dell for an LCD replacement, OR, you can hook up an external screen.
