Question about Polaroid LCD-1750 17 in. HD-Ready Television
I have inadvertently activated the child lock on this TV and the only way I can turn it on now is by the remote.(it just shuts down after 6 secs) To compound matters I do not have a remote. I have tried several universal remotes and cannot get the TV to power on. I just bought a new remote from polaroid ($30++) but it won't turn it on either. Is there any other way to reset the memory on this TV? Many thanks
I have the same problem, but I have a remote. I have tried everything and nothing works. When I try to type in the factory set password under parent lock, which is all zeros, it immediately turns the television to channel zero! We didn't set this, it just started happening. The manual for this model LCD 2000, is worthless! I called the company and they too were worthless! The call goes to another company for some reason and they have the same manual that I do. Any help would be appreciated!
