Intermittent power issues with Sub-zero 695 water dispenser?

After sitting for a few minutes the water dispenser will stop working. Resetting the unit by toggling the "unit on/off" button does let the dispenser work temporarily. Every other function works satisfactorily.

SOURCE: Hotpoint side by side water button does not

Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line under the unit before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does leave the door open till it thaws

Red lock light is on below ice and water dispenser. How do I turn it off so I can get ice and water?

Does this model have a light button? (I know the 685 and the 695 do.) If it does, press and hold the Light button until all the LEDs light up once. This takes about 5 seconds. (Repeating the process will reenable the lock.)

I hope this helps.

My subzero 695 ice maker and water dispenser quit working. Do you have any ideas what I can do to make them start working again?

You might want to check out this forum. Your water controls on both the ice maker AND the door water are out? Could be a power supply issue or perhaps your unit only uses one water flow solenoid. Either way, head to this website and look for a forum for your unit.

My sub-zero 695 motor keeps running, very noisy..

If it is one with the compressor on top . Check the coils up top . You may find that they need cleaning because it sound like it's unable to cool enough to satisfy the thermostat therefore it runs all the time trying to.

Sub zero 695 freezer not freezing.

There are a couple of possible problems. If you mean load motor noise as in the compressor then you likely have a sealed system problem. Either a bad internal valve is making it noisy and you are loosing presure within the system. You will need a new compressor if this is the problem. A technician could tell you if this is the problem just by checking the internal low side presures. A few things that I would check before calling a technician is 1. Make sure the condenser fan in the upper unit is running. 2. Check to see that the internal fan in the freezer is operating as well. 3. Check to see that the freezer light is going off when you close the door. If all of these things are working I would suggest call a technician.
