2.i was updating my acer bios which was 1.07 and is now 1.33 after i updated my windows doesnt boot. You know the little line that comes under and word you are typing in Microsoft Office, i get that on a blank screen constanly blinking it just loads on forever. the max ive wait for this to finsih it about 30 minutes. so does any know if missed up the bios files and can they send me something to repair this or somethining. and i forgot to mention. the only i do get the boot windows and my pressing Alt - F10 which is the key on acer aspire for D2D recovery. that seems to bypass the loading and it bring me on my windows vista loading screen whichi is normal. so can anyone tell how to fix my problem without press ALT F10 everytiime. thanks in advance
3. and the last problem i play heavy games on my laptop and i found some new driver on laptopvideo2go.com which really helped with mu left 4 dead experience, i saw immediatly after downloading it my shared graphics memory went from about 435 to 642 which together with my deciated memory gave me about 893 total graphic memory, these number are not accurate at all im just trying to say that installing the driver which was a custome one i think cuz laptopvideo2go.com has custome INF's made my shared Video memory more, is there a way i can incrase that my self cuz it will really speed u left 4 dead thanks

2. Do you have a XP CD? If so, boot the Recovery Console by entering R the at the first opportunity.
From the command prompt, can you see the C: drive by entering dir c:
If so, type chkdsk /r and press Enter
Wait for it to complete. This can take awhile on a large drive so be patient.
Type fixboot and press Enter
Reboot and see if XP will boot correctly now.
3. Not too sure about this one , if you have ATI Graphics and have the control panel installed you can right click your desktop , properties , settings , advanced and there should be a tab at the top called Frame Buffer. My toshiba Satellite laptop has this and you can specify 32mb , 64mb or 128mb for the graphics memory. Remember , whatever you have selected in this menu is deducted from your total system memory
Hope this helps - Please Rate my solution too
