Question about Pioneer DEH-15 CD Player

Open Question

Got DEH-15 car CD receiver wont turned on.

I checked all connections and the fuse, they are good. Unplug the harness from the back of the unit and check for ground and power were also good, but the unit still won't turned on. What might be the problem..?

SOURCE: got DEH-15 car DC receiver wont turned on.

Check your memory wire, and make sure it has a constant voltage on it. Should be the yellow wire.

What is the name of the plug and wire connections of a car cd player called, which is found at the back of the unit which connects to the speakers

Its called a harness. You have to get one that match your vehicles harness and since the wires are color coded, connections will be easy just remember if your spare wires are dimmer neg. and pos. dont wired them together, cover them with electric tape individually so it wont short the head unit.

Car battery died, radio wont turn on anymore

Have you checked the fuse at the back of the head unit. You will need to extract the head unit from the slot. There is a small blade fuse near to where the wiring harness connects to the back of the unit. Check it to see if it has blown. It normally is a red 10amp fuse.
Also check your main fuse board.

Hope this helps

Pioneer deh 1600 has no power

Well.. if there is smoke coming from the head unit, the head unit could be bad. It odviously may have a wire crossed or a fuse blown, or even the wire harness could be bad. First, check the fuse for the radio on drivers side door, then check the other fuse box under the hood. Make sure all radio fuses are intact and not blown. Second, check behind the head unit to make sure no wires are touching each other and shorting out. Third, if nothing else helps, buy a new head unit & wiring harness :]

hope this helps!!!

My pioneer deh-1900 mp will not turn on

did you use a wire harness adapter or did you connect the wires from the radio directly to the wires in the car? do you have a computer safe test light or a digital vom meter? do not use a conventional test light in this car or an analogue meter to check for power

Does noit turn on when car is on

Please let me know what kind of car you have (year/make/model). Check the fuse in the back of the radio, it should be right there when you unplug the wire harness going into the back. If it's blown, you probably have a shorted speaker. Also check the fuse boxes in the car, under the dash and under the hood. If this does not help, give me some details about the problem. There are many things that can keep a cd player from turning on, I just gave you the things it most likely is.
