Question about GE 30 in. Profile JP939 Electric Cooktop
After relocating cooktop, error F104 appears
F104 is logic board (main board) MUX failure.
1) Recycle power to the cooktop.
2) If problem continues, replace logic board (~$250 part)
You can read my other entry as to how to open the unit. It seems strange that the board would fail simply from moving. That is assuming that it was properly reconnected electrically to an appropriate circuit. It is certainly worth opening up the unit and simply checking all cable connections to the board and looking for any visible damage (not that there will always be some for a failed board) before paying for a replacement.
I should point out that GE's troubleshooting instructions often end quite quickly in logic board replacement. Either they anticipate a lot of failure of these boards or they like selling replacements whether necessary or not.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Cecilia, thank you for your inquiry! If you are receiving an error code E99 on your Electrolux Induction Cook-top, it typically relates to a communication failure. If switching your breaker off and on did not resolve your issue, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you. Thanks, JK

Good Afternoon friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
Typically on an Electrolux induction cooktop the "E4" error code stands for key sensor for timer. Which means you could be experiencing an issue with the right board, center board, or left board. I would perform a reset on your cooktop and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes.
If that does not assist with clearing any false error codes or the error "E4" continues to display I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

Thank you for your post, friend!
I located that on Electrolux Cooktop error codes "35" and "75" stand for input voltage too low. It could be an issue with your filter board or an issue within the voltages. I would recommend having a professional come out to your cooktop to properly diagnose to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
