If the speaker of that side (not working) is found OK then go to the volume control panel and place the Microphone equilizer bars in middle position of the panel.

Better ear speaker replacement

When you say "ear speaker" fdo you mean an eabud headphone?
Just check plug size; there are 3 1/2" and 2 1*2" plaug. Do a google search and buy a good quality.
Actually, Motorola headphones are quite good, so might be some particular issue with yours.
I've used Sony headphones too, but be careful with FAKE Sony products.

Eartip not staying in

Depending on the manufacturer of your headphones you may be able to buy new tips that will stay in your ear better. Or you'll need to look into headphones that have this feature, or you'll need headphones that go over the ear. Personally, my ears don't work we'll for any in ear types of headphones, almost all fall out. I have a pair of Shure's that have foam tips that stay in better than all the others.

EAR CUSHION

Sony parts suppliers sell replacement ear pads. Part no 2-320-280-01 about US$16 each (not pair).
Old ear pads slip off - pull gently to stretch the part that sits in the groove of the headphones until one side slides out.

The creative sewer can remanufacture new pads from thin soft leather by following the pattern of the old ones.
No cost fix is to scrape off the remaining peeling urethane leaving the soft fabric backing. Headphones will still work but the soft earpads should absorb high frequencies.

One of my headphones only makes noise when pressed on with force

Sounds like the conductive cable is about to go bye-bye.

My previous in-ear started to behave like this after about a year and a half of use.At first,if I pressed or moved its body around may solved it.But about a week later, the right ear went completely silent regardless how I fussed on it.

If the symptom gets worse and worse as time goes by,you'd better look for the new earphones.

Only one side of the headphones work

this is usually a problem with the wire "grommet" around the plug. this spot experiences the most wear and tear and more often than not one of the wires shorts with ground thus producing no sound. If you don't think this is the problem, try opening up the ear pieces and checking for solid connections to the speakers
