Question about Opteka (OPT7000) Tripod
Not quite a solution, but you look at hundreds of quick releases at www.tripodquickrelease.com and most of them have measurements of the bottom part that fits into the head opening. I didn't see that brand listed, but they have some pages where their customers have told them what fits on a tripod and they added it. They even thanked the customer by name on the webpage.

Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen. Because your tripod is not supported by the manufacturer; parts lists and pars are not available, you should measure the opening and see what other brand quick releases will work paying attention to the shape and locking mechanism. Otherwise just get another tripod.
