Question about Dell Computers & Internet
I don't see a button, and when I select eject it says error. I see the cd tray, so I know there IS one, but I have no way of opening it! D:
Go to My computer, on CD/DVD drive right click and select Eject.
Your problem is solved.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I've been there many times...while this is a non-techie answer...it happens to be the best solution. Grab a thin knife a fidget with it. If it still seems stuck then pull off the front bezel and try to get it to open without that as an obstruction. There's no 'simple' answer to this...but if you want to avoid the problem altogether you may just want to purchase another cd drive and swap it out.
