Hi, Press the *28* you need to press the 2 and 8 quite quickly
almost at the same time and its the * with the head shape around it not
the star on its own.
The only model 400s I found were old, like 1940 old. Here's a page of way older docs... scroll down to the 400s and open a few to see if any one of them are the right one for your machine.
Problem :
E604 Error Code. You followed all the troubleshooting steps in the service manual and still have an E604 code.
Solution :
Check the Image Server Memory or the Image Processor PCB. The
recommended Image Sever Memory should be Kingston 32MB, 144 pin EDO
Module, 64 Bit, 60 nanoseconds, No Parity.
Turn off the main power switch, and disconnect the power cord. Remove the copyboard glass; then, remove the screw, and detach the small cover from the IP cover. remove the remove all eprom dccon ram & insert again & start the machine.
