Question about Samsung SCH-u520 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Steam Damage I had my phone in the bathroom, and there was a lot of steam. At first the screen wouldn't show at all; the next day the screen works, but I can't dial out or receive calls. Nor can I send or receive text messages. The message that I receive when trying to dial out is, "call failed try again." Any suggestions...

Hi sexy,

just remove your phones battery, cover, simcard, memory card and dry it in sunlight for 3-5 hrs.

it will solve this, else use an hair dryer to dry it. but from an distance!

good luck!

Water and steam is the worst enemy of all phones and mobile devices. You've most likely got severe water damage to the phone caused by the steam.

Never take a phone in the bathroom with you, for any reason. Water kills phones

I suffer from a build up of steam in my bathroom, I have an extractor fan and was wondering if fitting a humidistat may help.

If the build up only occurs when the shower is operating, it wouldn't be worth the money, time and effort. Check the fan, by removing the cover. It may need a good cleaning. As they do collect dust, lint and hair when they are in operation. Also, running it properly, may solve the problem. The fan should be ON prior to starting the shower and remain on at least 15 minutes (some manufacturer's recommend 30 minutes) after the shower is completed. If you bathroom has a window, opening that at least 1/2", allows the fan to pull in fresh air to help eliminate the humidity. Of course, in the dead of Winter, you don't want to open the window. As the cold air will turn the humidity/steam into water droplets.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have the Euro Pro Steam Caddy #S3325H. I have had it for years and have never used it. Now I have a ceramic bathroom and dirty grout. There are no instructions in the box, and I can't get the steam to...

dont steem this grout,,,it will only fall out or you could crack a tile,,,wipe on some strong bleach/loo cleaner and scrub it with a stiff brush its a lot safer than steeming it

Steam comes out strong for 25 seconds, then almost completely stops and water dribbles from the steam tube, then strong steam for 25 seconds, then it stops and dribbles for 25 seconds, then strong steam,...

Check the thermostats on the steam boiler, one of them is not working, also check the main board for damage, if the pump is not pulsing when you are steaming.

This is a EURO-PRO X Shark Steamer Model S3325, there doesn't seem to be any power in plugged in, no lights on the handle. Bad switch or is there a fuse?

There is usually a heat sensitive fuse link installed in the handle and is incorporated in the cord connection. If the machine gets too hot or is run while dry, the fuse can blow. You would have to replace the fuse, as they are not resetable.
