Question about TP-LINK TLWR340G Wireless Router
Everytime i access the tp link gui 192.168.1.1 its getting me to the modem gui which has the same ip address. What can i do to set up a security key on my router??
Unplug the modem network cord from the router, make shure nobody need internet access at the time.
Then access the 192.168.1.1, and it should be the router.
In the Router GUI, change it's address to somethign else.
(192.168.1.X) where X= something between 2 and 254)
Save settings and plug the modem back into the router.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Need help! Cannot access YAHOO
try power cycle by removing the power of the router for one minute then plug it again.
check the cable if all of it tightly connected to the specified port
if it is a modem router it should have a 3 cable connected to it
Phone line, Ethernet cable and the power adapter.
the Ethernet cable should be connect to the back of your tower( computer).
check you phone for a dial tone.
check the light in the router like dsl , ethernet ,internet and activity.
all of these must have a light.

In order to get your router back to the original settings, you must push
in the reset button (usually on the back of the router) for somewhere
between 10 and 30 seconds depending on the router. You may need a pin or
something small to push in the button, because it can be recessed. Once
you have reset the router, the username and password will be changed to
the defaults, admin and password, respectively. One thing you must
remember is that resetting the router will change all of the router
settings back to the factory settings. This means you will lose all of
the changes you made since you got the router. Make sure to write down
any things you've changed, so you can change them back after the reset.
Also, I recommend updating to the latest firmware after the reset.
There a great article at General Router Setup.
If you need more help post back!
Thumbs and testimonial are welcome!

SOURCE: I am using two WAN
I'm a user 4 the same load balance product, your 2 ADSL lines must have difrent IP with difrent submask than the IP you assigned 4 TP Link-TL R480t+ (10.0.1.1 in Ur case), lets say 1st line connected to the Line through a Dlink router has an IP 192.168.1.1, this will be WAN1, its config will be as follows:
WAN Port: WAN1
WAN Connection type: Static IP
IP Address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Defult Gateway: 192.168.1.1
MTU Size : 1500
Pri DNS: (add the DNS here)
Sec DNS : (add the DNS here)
the second line shuld be the same way with difrent IP & difrent subnet (for example IP=192.168.2.2, Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0 - for the router connected to the 2nd line IP 192.168.2.1 which will be the defult gatteway for WAN2)
hope this answers your question
