Sorry to hear about what happened. What I would do is... Try the last 4 of your phone # or full 10-digit #. If that doesn't work, you can log in online @ verizonwireless.com under your My Verizon account and reset your voicemail password, OR call the Customer Service IVR or talk to a rep to reset it. try dialing #43574357* it should show you the sid meid min etc. make sure you write down SID. then go to settings from the main menu>press *>587846. in the MIN and MDN field put in 10 digit phone number and put in SID exactly the same as you wrote it down so if 0 is the first number be sure to put 0 and the rest of the numbers. the phone will reset and your phone WILL work
