Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. usually the thermocouple wears out. Make sure the thermocouple is in the flame, if it is, and it still wont stay lit I would change that first.

HAD A similiar problem last week with a customer who had just installed a pool and running off of propane tank for gouse as well... he let tank go empty and started having problems ..what we ended up finding is that not only was his regulator on tank bad he needed a additional regulator to regulate the different psi pressure to the appliances... get them to check your regulator out
