SOURCE: The charging port came completely off on my LX260

you can't repair the charging port because those wires a litterally sautered into the computer board. Potentially you could take the motherboard out of the inside of the cracked screen phone and put it into the charger port phone. Make sure you use the sticker from under the battery on the cracked screen phone and you'll have to get your service changed to that ESN. good luck.

SOURCE: charger port on LG shine broke.

It could be either your charger is broken or the charging port in the phone is- I would recommend taking it to a store and have them check it out for you.

I have a dragon touch tablet but its not charging. I have to put force and hold it for a long time at a certain angle

Sounds like a bad charger port. If possible find a friend that has as 'like' tablet and see if that charger will work. I don't know of any device that needs to be in a certain position to charge. Since it's charging at an angle and with pressure, then it's probably not the charger, although it could be the part (of the charger cord) that you put into your tablet, usually from a high number of insertions/retractions or abuse.

The charge port has probably been worn out. If you have the electrical skills, you may be able to replace it.

Have you attempted taking the battery out and while the battery is out holding down the power button for a few seconds? If this doesn't work,
First test your charger to ensure proper charging. Clean charging ports. Remove battery and clean brass contacts with alcohol and q-tip

My SCH-a930 won't charge. I still have battery life, and the phone works fine, but the phone won't charge. I have tried multiple wall outlets. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Hi,
Please, try using another charger with the phone.
If the problem continues, get a screw driver, unscrew the phone and bring the charging port out. The charging port is at the tail end of the phone.
Clean the surface of the panel where the charging port contact the panel with a spirit and allow it to dry for 30 minute. Couple back the phone and i am sure the charging phone will work fine.
Regards

Hello. Your phone charging plug is shot and needs to be replaced. Take it to the phone store and ask them what your options are. They may just give you a new phone. Joe

Usb port in Tomtom 130 not working properly

It sounds like your mini usb connector is damaged or one of the components near to it. If you're handy you can buy a replacement and solder it in. You will need a very fine tip soldering iron and a magnifying glass. The repair can be quite challenging as the components are surface mounted. If it's a damaged component near the USB connector that is damaged then this wont solve the problem.
I can fix it for you for a small fee if you dont want to attempt repair.
I've repaired about 20 tomtom units with similar problems. I charge around £35 for this including return postage
