I understand that you are getting a humming sound on your Frigidaire washer, and it will not start a cycle. I also see that you've checked the pump as well as the motor, and neither of those is making the humming sound. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your washer and determine what is causing your appliance to make that humming sound and not run a cycle. Hope this is helpful.
Check under the machine and see if the motor turns easily by hand. It could be the motor, or it could be the bearing. The switching off after a while implies that the motor is struggling against a heavier than normal force and trips because of overheating. Most likely the bearing/s is/are ceasing up.
Check the power setting. You can tell if it is on a lower setting because it will cycle ( you can hear it humm lower for a short time then the sound is different and then it humms the same again. It happens...it is new.
need to remove the lower panel below the door and unscrew the big white cap and clean out the pump pluged up this will fix the problem beware all the water in tub will run out on floor if hose coming from pump is not pinched closed
will not turn...
